The Role – We are hiring an Assistant Brand Manager

SUMMARY: 

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the brand manager to lead

the marketing plans for our various brands.   The incumbent is a creative, enthusiastic Assistant Brand Manager, who is a detail oriented self-starter and passionate about helping to shape this new industry.  This role is responsible for driving revenue, increasing brand awareness and increasing consumer engagement. Must be a well-organized, strong and savvy communicator that lives and breathes flawless execution. We are growing and need someone who can hit the ground running!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the development of the annual marketing plans, and ensure flawless, on-time execution
  • Foster relationships and achieve marketing objectives through key internal cross functional teams and external agency teams
  • Clear understanding of consumer needs, ensuring all communications and new innovations have the consumer in mind
  • Responsible for the commercialization process for new product launches managing projects from inception through launch
  • Creates all required tools for sales team go to market plans, including customer sell-in presentations and new marketing materials
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts, recommending, adjusting and implementing plans as applicable
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors, market, consumers, products to garner insights, feed into the development of new products, go-to-market plans, and develop strategic initiatives
  • Analyze key brand performance indicators for CannTrust and competitors, making actionable recommendations for issues and opportunities
  • Developing POS and online resources for product launches with a strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to translate consumer, retailer and shopper understanding into innovative and effective concepts and brand ideas
  • Managing artwork & packaging development and coordinating approvals with key stakeholders

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field required 
  • 2-3 years of progressively more responsible positions in marketing, preferably in a similar industry and/or in different organizations 
  • Must be able to pass a basic police background check.  Depending on role requirements in the future, must be able to pass a RCMP security clearance

SUMMARY:

Responsible for designing and optimizing the Distribution Centre.

RESPONSIBLIITES:

The Role – Supply Chain Technician

SUMMARY: Working in a Medical Cannabis Licenced facility in the supply chain department where high volume packaging, picking, and shipping of customer orders is performed with state of the art technology. The supply chain support staff will have the training and flexibility to be inserted into any part of the supply chain in times of high demand. Hours of work: 6:30am – 2:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pick, scan and fill daily customer orders
  • Prep, package and ship orders distributed by Canada Post, Purolator, and other carriers
  • Respond to customer inquiries pertaining to packaged and shipped orders
  • Respond to internal questions on product inventory levels, order status, and compliance investigations
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for cannabis and cannabis related and products

The General Labourer will be assisting construction crews at the greenhouses on Balfour St. (Fenwick) with new construction and retrofit a state of the art cannabis production facility.

  • Assist in construction of existing and new buildings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards around the work-site.

SUMMARY:

The Operations Technician is a part of a team responsible for assisting with day to day operations at the greenhouse, including sanitation of all equipment, ranges and header houses along with other duties. These tasks will be expected to be completed in an efficient and timely manner while meeting all standards set forth by CannTrust Operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with the timely and properly cleanliness of the greenhouse equipment, machinery, supplies in all the areas of the plant
  • Assists in cleaning and preparation of all production materials before planting
  • Ensures all greenhouse equipment, machinery, utensils and all the areas of the plant have been cleaned properly according with the SOP’S
  • Collaborates effectively with all internal groups/teams
  • Must adhere to company GPP’s and Health and Safety Regulations

JOB FUNCTION: Product Development Technician

The Product Development Technician assists the development of new products by taking direction from Product Development Specialist. The successful candidate will help bring R&D products to the commercial market and be a key member in the expansion of Canntrust’s innovative pipeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Records and maintains all data collection from process
  • Maintaining in house inventory of production consumables under R&D inventory
  • Safely operate all required equipment and machinery including those used to manufacture, store, clean and transport production related assets
  • Maintains general cleanliness and tidiness of lab area
  • Works closely with manufacturing on R&D and Business Development in new formulations, reformulations, and innovation
  • Works with the QA department to ensure required testing and documentation is in place
  • Develops SOPs for pilot-scale and large scale manufacturing of pipeline products for commercialization and business partnerships

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • College Diploma with major in Sciences (Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology)

  • Basic skills in math, including algebra are required

  • Define and identify which events, and conferences are relevant for both the medical and adult use markets
  • Research events, suppliers, and contractors and negotiate prices and hire
  • Produce detailed proposals for events (eg. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets)
  • Manage and coordinate all pre-event and event planning and logistics
  • Collaborate with marketing and social media teams, as required to publicize and promote the event
  • Includes on-site event management to ensure maximum return on investment and management of activation program deliverables
  • Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events
