CannTrust recently received a compliance report from Health Canada notifying us that our greenhouse facility in Pelham, Ontario, is not compliant with certain regulations.
CannTrust has also implemented a voluntary hold on sale and shipment of all cannabis products as a precaution while Health Canada visits and reviews our Vaughan, Ontario, manufacturing facility.
We are working closely with Health Canada through the review process and expect to provide further detail of the duration of the hold and other developments as they become available.
We have temporarily put a hold on products, pending Health Canada’s review.
We are currently working with Health Canada to resolve this situation. An exact timeframe is unknown at the moment; however, we will be sure to keep you updated on all progress made with regards to this matter.
Our number one priority is to make sure patients have access to medication. If you choose to purchase cannabis from another licensed producer, we can transfer your medical document to a licensed producer of your choice. If you are not aware of any other licensed producers, we would suggest that you ask your health care practitioner for another recommendation.
If your current order was received before 3 p.m. on July 10, and left our facility, you should receive your order in the coming days depending on location and shipping method. If your order was placed after 3 p.m. on July 10, we will reach out to you to refund your order.
All products have passed third party testing by Health Canada approved labs for both safety and quality.
In the event that you do not feel comfortable with using the product, do not open the product. Please ship back your unopened product, and we will provide you with a full refund.
Our Customer Care team will be able to assist you. You can reach them at email@example.com or 1-855-794-2266.
